Adire, the popular tie-dyed fabric, is emblematic of the culture of the Yoruba people, one of the largest ethnic groups in Nigeria. But as Africa's most populous nation struggles with high inflation, Nigerians are drawn to the counterfeit Chinese-made adire fabrics, threatening the craft.
